The Heather Young Kendall story...
My love of the beach and sea shells was instilled in me as a child. I am very grateful to have spent my childhood living the beautiful "beach life" at the North End of Clearwater Beach, on the West Coast of Florida. My family was a "water family", spending most of our free time boating, diving, swimming and beach combing.

We love the ocean and want to preserve it's resources...
With the growing concern for our environment comes an influx of questions regarding the source and gathering practices for the shells we offer with our designs. We hope to educate and assure you about
the process involved in bringing these beautiful gifts of nature to you.
In keeping a conscientious attitude regarding the environment, we would like to assure our customers
that many of our shells are by-products of the seafood industry. We do not carry shells that are
endangered or threatened. Certain shells become unavailable from time to time…. preventing over gathering. Most coral is not offered any longer. Please keep in mind that we are speaking solely for
our business practices and ethics and cannot attest to any other company's policy.
Thank you for your interest in our company. We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Heather Kendall
